Flexibility Exercise

The first type of exercise is the one that improves the body’s flexibility. Exercises of this type are intended to loosen the motions of muscles and joints. A famous example of this type of exercise is stretching, which is the routine that you usually do at the beginning and end of your workout regimen to stay away from severe muscle stiffness and joint pain. Used as a warm-up and cooling-down exercise, stretching is indeed invaluable in every workout. When you work out, your muscles are under a lot of tension so it is necessary to do flexibility exercises to reduce soreness and aid in fast recovery.

Aerobic Exercise

Another type of exercise that is quite popular among women is the aerobic exercise. It is also called cardiovascular exercise, whose purpose is to strengthen the muscles and promote a healthy heart. During an aerobic exercise, the muscles are set in motion from a lower-intensity workout to a high-intensity one for a minimum of 20 minutes. Common examples of this type of exercises are cycling, running, swimming, and dancing. Aerobics are famous among women because this is one of the best ways for losing weight.

Fitness Regimen for Muscle Building

The third of the various types of exercise is the anaerobic exercise which is also called weight training exercises. Creating muscles and augmenting the size of muscle size are the major objectives of this type of exercise thus, this is famous among bodybuilders . Subdivisions of anaerobic exercise include sprinting, weight training, and functional training – all for the purpose of toning and forming new muscles. Pull-ups, push-ups, and squats are just few of the examples of anaerobic exercises.
