We are also constantly bombarded by a plethora of junk foods and cooked foods. We are easily drawn to take the path of least resistance, by giving up raw food diet in favor of processed and junk food items.

A major obstacle we have to overcome when eating healthy is the cravings for junk food. This is due to the gradual removal of toxins from our body as a direct result of the cleansing action of fresh and living food. Keep yourself away from things you know will tempt you and just avoid those situations. For example, when you are at the grocery store going to but some vegetable, take the extra few steps to avoid the candy and cookie isle on the way.
2. Keep the consequences for your actions in mind
If a craving creeps up on you and wont go away, just think of how terrible you will feel if you give in. Think about all the negative effects these will have on your health and its impact on your peace of mind.
3. Replace your cravings with good fresh and uncooked food
If junk food cravings just wont leave you alone, busy your mouth with raw crunchy foods. However, if you do this to avoid junk food, make sure not to pig out on the healthy food.
4. Adjust your diet to fit you and reduce your cravings.
If you are facing long-term cravings, then you may consider altering your eating program from restricted eating program to a more diverse one.
5. Observe sensible eating
Eat in moderation, and at fixed and regular intervals. It is also essential that you don’t overeat while on a fresh or living eating habit.
6. Focus your mind to what you are presently doing and don’t allow yourself to get distracted by external occurrences.
7. Try to surround yourself with other people who love to eat fresh and healthy foods as well. You can join and start a new organization or join the existing support group.
8. Exercise as regularly as possible. Regular exercise is effective in eliminating stress. Aside from eliminating or reducing your cravings, one also benefits from its significant healing power and cleansing properties. These kinds of activities are yoga, tai-chi, or kung-fu.
