Those, who are keen on sport and take care of their abdomen, know already that regular training should not be limited to ab exercises only. Strength training should involve exercises for all muscles groups, since they should be strong and toned up as well as your abdomen. Besides, it is recommended to undergo a fitness test to estimate your abilities. In this case, you will get an optimal fitness program, not too easy and not too complicated. On the other hand, if you find it too difficult, you risk to give up training very soon since it will seem undoable.

Abdominal training should include exercises for both upper and lower abdomen. These may be crunches, leg raising, sit-ups, “bicycle” etc. You may perform them without special ab equipment, but still they are very efficient. The matter is not to choose too simple exercises, which you may repeat hundreds of times, because they will show no result. An exercise should suppose no more than 25-30 reps on which you spend most of the efforts.

It is self-evident that cardio and strength training will make you burn a lot of calories and help to lose weight. Still, it is not a reason to eat carelessly everything that you want. In this case you will consume more than you burn and all trainings will be in vain. Shy away from high-caloric food, if you want to see the result of your training sooner. Only in case you refuse from starchy, fatty and sweet food, you will consume fewer calories and lose extra-weight.
